- Fully remote, full time position

- Regular collaboration with compliance, operations, leadership, and other internal teams
What You’ll Do
- Support federal and state regulatory compliance across the organization
- Participate in the annual compliance risk assessment process to evaluate inherent and residual risk in business processes
- Draft self assessment procedures, execute compliance testing, and summarize findings in clear, actionable reports
- Help draft, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures, including reviewing training content for accuracy
- Track regulatory changes and assist with implementation across impacted teams
- Contribute to consumer complaint resolution facilitation and reporting, HMDA monitoring, and advertising reviews as needed
- Build working knowledge to evolve into a regulatory specialist, with the goal of growth into a Senior Compliance role
What You Need
- 3 to 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a closely related role
- Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage banking laws
- Experience working within a Compliance Management System
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise wide compliance risk assessments
- Proven ability to draft, execute, and or review self assessments across a range of regulatory topics
- Experience with CFPB exams and state regulators is a plus, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Strong analytical skills and comfort researching federal and state laws and operational issues
- Audit skills and Encompass familiarity are a plus
