- Full-time, exempt, remote role within the United States
- Travel required: on average ~2 trips per month to office locations across the U.S.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day compliance operations for your assigned state(s), ensuring alignment with company policy, state licensing rules, and The Joint Commission (TJC) Behavioral Health standards
- Ensure all staff in your region are onboarded and maintained in compliance, including personnel files, credentials, and training records
- Maintain compliant processes for employee onboarding, client admissions, clinical documentation, treatment, and discharge
- Own office space compliance and environment-of-care expectations for assigned locations, including safety checks and routine requirements
- Host and organize site visits, regulatory surveys, and inspections; develop and track corrective action plans when findings arise
- Write and maintain individualized policies and procedures, including crosswalks to state and accreditation requirements
- Support ongoing regulatory and accreditation work: internal inspections, written assessments, emergency drills, and quality reviews
- Participate actively in Quality Committee meetings and ensure documentation meets all standards
- Lead licensing and accreditation efforts: obtain facility licenses for mental health and substance use outpatient treatment, and ensure requirements are continuously met
- Partner with Clinical Training and Personnel Compliance to ensure staff training plans meet local, state, and national expectations
- Coordinate and deliver compliance education, investigate potential compliance issues, and coach teams on best practices
- Support tracking, analysis, and follow-up for facility incidents, including root cause analysis of any sentinel events
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, human services, or related field; legal or regulatory background preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in behavioral healthcare or healthcare settings
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports
- Demonstrated experience with Joint Commission Behavioral Healthcare standards
- Direct experience leading state regulatory inspection surveys (serving as DRI and organizing survey prep)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a consultative, coaching style
- Proven ability to influence, present to, and advise senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills and comfort managing details in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to travel regularly (around twice per month) to office locations across assigned state(s)
- Work authorization in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
Benefits
- Competitive base salary target range: approximately $84,000–$108,000 annually, with performance-based bonus potential
- Target total cash compensation (base plus bonus) in the approximate range of $84,000–$118,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and internal equity
