- Open and close job tasks in communication workflow
- Track and provide status of ICS, business owner and regulatory recommendations and approvals
- Archive final versions of plan communications upon completion
- Proof communications to ensure quality and brand standards are met
- Maintain strong, positive, working relationships with business partners and Member & Provider communications colleagues.
- Maintain a working knowledge of WellCare’s state and federal contracts, products and benefits to ensure compliance and accuracy in materials content and communications.
- Adhere to set expectations and actively oversees quality of work including state and federal compliance, accuracy and consistency as it pertains to materials development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares formal regulatory filings and regulatory research to submit communication to regulatory agencies (Department of Insurance and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)) and assists with communication of filing or regulatory requirements to internal partners. (New Jersey Plan Only)
- Create, manage, and maintain communication process from creative to implementation. (New Jersey Plan Only)
Education/Experience: Required A High School or GED. Preferred A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Health Policy & Management, Marketing or related field.
Candidate Experience: Preferred 2+ years of experience in Communications development and/or marketing
