Schedule
• Remote role (listed under San Francisco, CA)
• Full schedule hours and time zone not specified
• Expect a fast-paced environment with a high volume of client accounts

What You’ll Do
• Contact clients daily via phone, email, and written outreach to secure payment and resolve balances
• Analyze A/R aging reports to spot at-risk accounts and build structured follow-up timelines
• Troubleshoot slow-pay issues and resolve short or overpayments and unapplied cash
• Manage workload across multiple tools and systems while keeping records accurate
• Follow up on payment promises, escalating when needed to protect timelines
• Identify and communicate credit risk trends to management
• Recommend accounts for escalation, credit hold, or external collections when appropriate
• Support approved bad-debt write-offs and maintain clean documentation
• Generate and analyze reports to track risk and collections performance
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and A/R to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Maintain detailed notes in CRM/billing systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, Maxio/Chargify)
• Ensure collections work follows internal policy and applicable state and federal regulations

What You Need
• 3+ years of collections experience (B2B preferred)
• In-house collections experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
• Calm, professional, empathetic approach to tough conversations
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling volume
• Microsoft Office proficiency (advanced Excel preferred)
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Maxio (Chargify) is a plus
• Salesforce experience preferred
