Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Monday–Friday, business hours
- One weekend per month may be required
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with customers to resolve inquiries and collect delinquent balances.
- Manage a high daily volume of inbound and outbound calls with applicants, borrowers, and merchants.
- Review delinquent accounts and apply the best contact strategies to minimize losses.
- Respond to credit and chargeback disputes quickly and accurately.
- Negotiate repayment plans across varying delinquency levels and balances.
- Document all borrower interactions thoroughly and provide problem-solving resolutions.
- Partner with management to recommend improvements at both borrower and system levels.
- Skiptrace accounts lacking viable contact details.
- De-escalate difficult scenarios and offer clear resolutions.
- Collaborate across teams in a startup environment to improve processes.
What You Need
- 1+ years of collections experience (customer service or sales experience may be considered).
- Proven ability to negotiate repayment plans.
- Knowledge of collections regulations preferred.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Excel/Google Sheets a plus.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Pay & Benefits
- $75,000 base salary
- $25,000 uncapped, on-target commission
- Monthly commission payouts
