About the position:

The Cloud Renewals Specialist is responsible for managing the renewal process for software licenses, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive incremental revenue.
Your day might look like:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Proactively reach out to customers to remind them of upcoming license expirations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns related to license renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and retention.

Renewal Process Management:

  • Track and manage the renewal cycle for all customer licenses.
  • Prepare and send renewal quotes, invoices, and contracts to customers.
  • Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of renewals.

Sales Support:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services during the renewal process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions and handoffs for renewals and new sales.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities in the CRM system.
  • Generate and analyze reports on renewal rates, customer feedback, and revenue projections.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of renewals and any potential issues.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all renewals comply with relevant software licensing agreements and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in software licensing policies and communicate these changes to customers as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of software licensing and renewal processes is a plus.
