Clinical Support Associate
Location – work from home (USA – any State)
Schedule: Day-time hours, Monday to Friday. (Start and end time will depend on state hired within. This position supports all time zones across the United States).
This position will report into the Sr. Manager, Clinical Programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides support services to onboarding manager and clinical operations team
- Performs data entry- pulls patient records from practice EHR and inputs into internal EHR system
- Communicates with medical practice staff, nursing staff and patients
- Answers/returns patient phone calls
- Schedules patient appointments
- Schedules handyman and IT services
- Orders supplies and sets up office accounts
- Up to 25% travel to set up new clinical sites (across the United States)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role with concentration on administration experience in a medical environment, including high attention to data entry accuracy
- Completion of post secondary education in a related field preferred
- A combination of experience and education may be considered
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel) required; experience with ECW – E clinical Works or other similar platforms considered a strong asset
- Exceptional and effective English communication skills (verbal and written) is required; bilingualism in Spanish would be considered a strong asset
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of internal and external partners, patients, clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- High level of personal integrity; is trustworthy, polished and well-organized
- Poised under pressure with ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, respond, and prioritize in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to work autonomously
- Positive and professional demeanor with strong work ethic
- Exercises discretion regarding confidential information
- Working knowledge of basic medical procedures
- Experience ordering medical and other supplies, setting up new accounts, arranging on-site work, and assisting with IT services would be an asset
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility
- Shows work commitment: sets high standards of performance and works efficiently to achieve them
- Commits to quality: emphasizes the need to deliver quality services
Minimum Requirements (internal applicants only)
- Current McKesson associates must meet performance standards for present position.
- Associate must not have more than a verbal warning for attendance.
- Associate must not have received a disciplinary action above a verbal warning within the past six months.
- Associate must be in their current position for 12 months.
