Schedule
- Full-time, remote position based in the United States, serving clients in California.
- Must hold an independent clinical license in California and be able to provide supervision to associate-level therapists in the state.
- Includes crisis management/on-call responsibilities, including some nights and weekends.
- Balance of leadership responsibilities, clinical supervision, documentation review, and a direct-care caseload (minimum 15 hours/week of group treatment).
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage a group of clinicians, providing guidance, feedback, and clinical support to ensure high-quality care.
- Assist the Clinical Director in developing and implementing an engaging clinical schedule and group curriculum aligned with best practices.
- Maintain a clinical caseload and facilitate at least 15 hours per week of group treatment using modalities such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI (certification is a plus).
- Provide clinical supervision to associate-level therapists in accordance with California regulations and accreditation standards.
- Monitor treatment documentation to ensure notes meet agency, DHCS, and Joint Commission standards.
- Lead and support crisis management efforts across the intensive outpatient program, including on-call coverage during nights and weekends as assigned.
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in line with recognized best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, staff, referral sources, and partner agencies.
- Support quality assurance efforts, compliance with The Joint Commission, and ongoing improvement of clinical processes.
- Help build and maintain relationships with key referral sources and participate in networking efforts as needed.
- Model professional ethics, healthy boundaries, and confidentiality for the clinical team.
What You Need
- Independent mental health license in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) and eligibility to supervise associate-level clinicians in the state.
- Work authorization in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency.
- Leadership experience in a clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, PHP, or similar).
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
- Strong clinical command of multiple therapeutic modalities; confidence integrating approaches such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI into treatment.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements for mental health programs (DHCS experience is a plus).
- Comfortable using cloud-based tools and communication platforms (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), plus EMR and survey software.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
- Ability to balance direct care, supervision, documentation review, and crisis/on-call responsibilities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
