Schedule
- Full time, remote position within the United States
- Shift options built around client and referral partner needs:
- Monday through Friday, 12 pm to 8 pm (local time zone)
- Sunday through Thursday, 12 pm to 8 pm (local time zone)
- Requires reliable internet and a private, professional space for virtual assessments
- Role is not available to candidates residing in Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington State, or Washington, DC
What You’ll Do
- Meet virtually with new clients at the point of admission and build rapport in a calm, confident, supportive way
- Present Charlie Health’s programming clearly so clients and families understand the IOP model, expectations, and next steps
- Complete structured virtual biopsychosocial assessments across a wide range of ages and presenting concerns
- Determine clinical appropriateness and level of fit for virtual intensive outpatient programming
- Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM V criteria and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Assign treatment team members and group schedules while communicating new admissions to internal staff
- Coordinate closely with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams to move clients smoothly through intake
- Communicate with referral sources such as hospitals, residential programs, psychiatrists, and outpatient therapists when clients admit
- Maintain regulatory and documentation standards while working in a fast paced, detail heavy environment
What You Need
- Master’s degree in mental health, social work, or a closely related behavioral health field
- Experience working clinically with children, teens, young adults, and adult clients
- Comfort completing behavioral health assessments and admissions processes, or a strong foundation with readiness to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly across virtual platforms
- High comfort level with telehealth tools and electronic systems, including video platforms and EMR
- Ability to stay organized, juggle multiple assessments, and maintain quality in a fast moving environment
- Authorized to work in the United States with native or bilingual English proficiency
- Access to reliable technology and secure, confidential workspace for telehealth
