Clinical Administrative Coordinator, UnitedHealth Group
Primary Responsibilities:
Take calls from providers regarding chemotherapy and specialty eligibility
Determine if the consumers are eligible for a health program
Connect consumers to a nurse
Take calls from providers and enter services that they are requesting into the system
Must have accurate documentation
Must meet weekly metrics
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
6+ months of experience working with ICD – 9 / 10 and CPT codes
1+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment
1+ years of experience in healthcare or medical billing
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support related role
Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, and sort spreadsheets, basic analytical formulas (VLOOKUP, if)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Telecommuting Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
