What You’ll Do

⦁ Serve as the primary contact and advocate for assigned health plan and managed care clients, building deep knowledge of their programs and expectations

⦁ Lead implementations and provide day-to-day service for moderately complex clinical programs with a high degree of autonomy

⦁ Respond to client calls the same business day and acknowledge client emails within 24 hours, maintaining a strong, professional presence

⦁ Create and distribute status reports, implementation plans, meeting minutes, and action items for both internal teams and external clients

⦁ Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional efforts to ensure client expectations, SLAs, and deadlines are consistently met

⦁ Keep department executives and leadership updated on key issues, risks, and client sentiment and engage them as needed for escalation and resolution

⦁ Facilitate and participate in Performance Standard meetings, Joint Operational Committee meetings, operational trainings, and delegation audits

⦁ Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and issues, including use of CRM tools as implemented

⦁ Mentor and support Client Services Managers I and II and provide training support as requested by leadership

⦁ Act as backup for other Client Services Managers and, when needed, represent the Sr. Manager, Client Services with both clients and internal stakeholders

What You Need

⦁ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (high school diploma required if substituting experience)

⦁ Extensive client-facing experience, including 2+ years as a Client Services Manager II at ASH or 5–7 years in a similar role with a health insurance or managed healthcare plan

⦁ Experience servicing managed health plans (HMO, PPO, POS and related products) is required; broader health insurance experience is preferred

⦁ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, spreadsheet creation, and CRM platforms for client relationship management

⦁ Strong skills with audiovisual and computer tools used to build and deliver client presentations

⦁ Proven ability to lead implementations, manage complex client issues, facilitate executive-level meetings, and document next steps clearly

⦁ Experience providing leadership and mentoring to others, formally or informally

⦁ Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in environments with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities

⦁ Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and maintain professional relationships internally and externally

⦁ Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel by car or plane as needed

⦁ Full-time annual salary range of $69,200 to $75,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and internal equity
