Schedule
- Full-time position
- Fully remote within the United States
- Standard weekday business hours (daytime schedule)
- Requires reliable high-speed internet (cable or fiber; at least 100 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload)
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the main liaison between clients/brokers and Allied teams regarding Allied Advocate claims
- Communicate claim issue resolutions clearly to clients and brokers
- Troubleshoot and help improve internal processes with various Allied departments
- Track member and provider interactions, documenting inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
- Review account details and assess when negotiation on balance-due issues is appropriate
- Partner with Account Management, Client Services, and Customer Service to resolve member issues
- Meet and maintain productivity and quality metrics set by management
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients to collect feedback and support continuous service improvement
- Handle additional client service responsibilities as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- One or more years of medical claims experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical benefits and insurance terminology preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
