Piper Companies is currently seeking a Client Service Professional for a remote position with a rapidly growing specialty pharmacy company, to help customers receive lifesaving, rare, and expensive medications.
Responsibilities of the Client Service Professional
Handle patient data entry and registration, verify health insurance, obtain specialty prior authorization documents from doctors’ office, run test claims, and take inbound calls from pharmacy and patients
Deal with insurance companies to assist with patients’ payment plans
Build relationships with clients by developing an understanding of their needs and ensuring accurate and timely communication in a call center environment
Qualifications of the Client Service Professional
1+ year experience with insurance verification, pharmacy, medical billing, medical coding, or similar related healthcare-related call center background
Prior experience with insurance verification or benefits investigations required
Ability to conduct great customer service in high stress situations
Proficient in data entry and Excel
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
Compensation for the Client Service Professional
Salary Range: $18 – $22 / hr
