What You’ll Do
- Support borrowers via chat, email, SMS, and phone with empathy, clarity, and accuracy
- Guide clients through payments, relief programs, and documentation needs
- Promote relevant Earnest products when appropriate to support financial goals
- Maintain detailed client records and collaborate with internal teams
What You Need
- 1+ year in customer service, sales, or collections
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Comfortable handling high-volume support and problem-solving independently
- Tech-savvy and able to perform basic loan-related math
Bonus Skills
- Experience in student lending, banking, or financial aid
- Call-center or sales background
- Familiarity with loan processing or underwriting
