Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull proper information daily form the bank in order to apply payments
- Ensure client payments and/or credits on account are timely and accurately processed and posted to invoices, or refunded to customers
- Track daily check payments and apply such to client invoices, coordinating with other teams in Finance to ensure the accuracy of payments and proper reconciliation of all accounts
- Communicate with clients regarding any application issues, refunds, etc.
- Train team members on approved procedures and protocols within the department
- Accurately handle all Canadian cash application/reconciliations
- Accurately ensures ACH & Credit Card reconciliations are complete monthly
- Provides service and support to internal and external customers
- Develops and makes recommendations to improve and control department processes to ensure performance at optimal levels
- Special Projects as assigned by manager or supervisor
