What You’ll Do
⦁ Process medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability claims accurately and on time
⦁ Research claim discrepancies, handle returned checks, issue refunds, and manage stop payments with precision
⦁ Manage high-importance claims and vendor billing with urgency and strong attention to detail
⦁ Review and respond to appeals, inquiries, and other claim-related communications
⦁ Partner with third-party organizations to secure payments for outstanding balances
⦁ Process case management and utilization review negotiated claims
⦁ Identify potential subrogation claims and escalate appropriately
⦁ Support team success by jumping in during peak workload periods and sharing knowledge
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma (required)
⦁ 3–5+ years of claims processing experience
⦁ 2+ years of BCBS claims processing experience
⦁ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
⦁ High attention to detail with accuracy and urgency
⦁ Ability to take initiative, own your work, and operate with minimal supervision while staying team-oriented
⦁ Track record of success in a fast-paced environment
