Modivcare is hiring an experienced Claims Manager II to lead and improve our insurance claims intake and handling operations. This role is critical in ensuring claims are reported, investigated, and resolved efficiently while meeting operational, financial, and service standards. You’ll collaborate with insurers, adjusters, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims and improve processes across personal, property, and casualty loss.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance claims and litigation reporting.
- Oversee intake, documentation, and processing of insurance claims.
- Communicate with claimants and attorneys, gather details, and initiate investigations.
- Submit claims to third parties when appropriate.
- Ensure legal holds are initiated and tracked properly.
- Collaborate with internal and outside counsel on pre-litigation and active litigation claims.
- Develop and implement best practices for claims resolution and incident handling.
- Lead claim reviews, track adjuster performance, and provide analysis to leadership.
- Participate in emergency calls for significant incidents and determine reporting/escalation needs.
- Support litigation, including payments, counsel evaluations, mediations, and reporting.
- Develop a Claims Reporting/Handling Manual to standardize processes.
- Lead or support projects that enhance claims management efficiency.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience managing large, complex claims processes (personal, property, or casualty).
- Strong knowledge of claims processing, insurance practices, and litigation handling.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused demeanor.
- Analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and data entry abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- Salary: $92,500 – $124,900
- Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance
