What we’re looking for

Vacasa is seeking a hard working, detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to help us maintain our large and quickly growing portfolio of vacation homes. A skilled Claims Coordinator will review and assess incoming damage claims to determine the appropriate course of action for resolving the financial liability associated with guest damage.

What you’ll do

Manage and track damage tickets.
Maintain damage claims documentation in Google Drive.
Identify if the home is opted into the Accommodations Protection Program.
Coordinate with Operations as needed to collect necessary information such as photos, estimates, and details about the damage and/or home.
Complete claims form as needed.
Communicate with guests via email.
Collect and process payments for damage folios.
Coordinate with the Collections Specialist as needed to process unpaid damages.
Other duties, as assigned.
Skills you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Demonstrated ability to:
Communicate in a positive, professional, empathetic and “customer-centric” manner
Use appropriate spelling, punctuation, and grammar in all written communication
Negotiate fair resolutions
Organize and file electronic documents in Google Drive
Provide guidance and support to team members
Prioritize work and use a variety of systems and tools
Embrace and adopt change in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
Work effectively both independently and as a member of the team
Be open to coaching and feedback
Perform other related roles and responsibilities as assigned or required in response to business need
Compensation:

$18 / hour
