Schedule
- 100% remote, work from home within the United States
- Full time, Monday through Friday
- Standard business hours aligned to Eastern Time
- Company equipment provided; personal phone used for outbound calls to insurance carriers
What You’ll Do
- Work insurance claims that are pending, cannot be released, or have been denied or incorrectly paid by commercial carriers
- Review claims on hold, identify why they are stuck, and resolve issues so they can move forward
- Analyze denials, determine the reason, and complete all necessary follow up
- Contact insurance companies to provide additional information, clarify details, or submit appeals so claims can be processed correctly
- Handle related correspondence by mail and email, including any necessary refunds or adjustments
- Follow all insurance rules, regulations, and timely filing limits to protect revenue and compliance
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
What You Need
- Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
- Ability to handle large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines and performance expectations
- Experience in a call-monitored or metric-driven environment is helpful
- Calm, professional phone presence with the ability to represent the company well with insurance carriers
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a courteous, solution-focused tone
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and working claims
- Strong organization and time management skills to prioritize and complete all assigned tasks
