Job Summary
As a Channel Marketing Specialist at Kensington, you will be pivotal in orchestrating, and managing the execution of our Channel marketing strategies in support of our channel partners. Our partners consist of Distributors, National Service Providers (NSP), Value Added Resellers (VAR), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Office Commercial partners. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a natural curiosity and a keen desire to gain experience in Partner/Channel Marketing, coupled with a passion for contributing to the success of our partners.
Responsibilities
- Promotional Campaign Development & Management: Collaborate with Channel and Marketing team members to plan, create, and execute channel marketing campaigns, including promotions, contests, trainings, and events, with ongoing performance assessment and optimization.
- Partner Relationship Management: Actively participate in partner planning meetings and support marketing needs for partners like Dell.com, Synnex, Zones, Connection, and Office Commercial.
- Partner Portal Operations: Manage day-to-day upkeep of the partner portal, upload trainings and resources, swapping out banners, and assisting partners with login or point redemption issues as needed.
- Partner Portal Development: Craft and maintain partner brand pages as needed within the Partner Portal.
- Email Marketing: Design and implement targeted email campaigns to support product launches and partner programs.
- Content Syndication Management: Oversee content syndication providers, ensuring timely and accurate product feed and catalogues updates.
- Content Syndication: Manage content syndication providers and make necessary updates to product catalogues.
- Partner Communication: Efficiently manage the partner email inbox, ensuring timely responses to partner inquiries.
- Creative Collaboration: Liaise with creative vendors for the production of marketing materials like flyers, brochures, and banners.
- Budget Management: Oversee channel budgets, invoicing, and reporting on financial discrepancies and outcomes. This is inclusive of creating and receiving purchase orders and ensuring monthly reconciliation.
- Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Undertake additional duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- 2 – 4 years of experience in sales or marketing role.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Strong multitasking ability, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Acute attention to detail and independence in consistently delivering quality work.
- Solid organizational skills, with a focus on time management and prioritization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot) are a plus.
- Proficient in data analysis and marketing analytics tools are highly preferred.
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000
