About the Work:
We are seeking a Care Pro Hiring Associate to own the end-to-end hiring of Care Professionals (our caregivers) across multiple markets. This role supports a high volume of candidates once they have applied to Honor and helps them navigate accepting their offer all the way through onboarding task completion. We have ambitious weekly hiring targets that exist to meet the high demand of clients in need of excellent care. This person is responsible for evaluating and building rapport with candidates, effectively and persuasively conveying the benefits of Honor, providing tech support, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of all compliance documentation and onboarding paperwork. The role is also responsible for ensuring Care Pro candidates smoothly navigate a tech-centric, highly self-service, hiring process, where speed to hire and conversion rate are critical.
This is an individual contributor role who reports into a Care Pro Hiring manager.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone screens to discuss the Care Pro role and Honor benefits, ensuring they understand the hiring process, and guide them through accepting their offer
- Review submitted documents and conduct all state-regulated compliance checks for each qualified candidate
- Review and make a final pass / fail evaluation on a subset of video interviews
- Provide tech support and answer questions about onboarding paperwork and compliance items, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Participate in various pilots at any given time that test new ways of doing the work; for example, how we assess skills, how we generate referrals, etc
- Proactively re-engage candidates, seek referrals, and utilize strategies to increase hiring in high-need markets
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in similar or related role such as recruiting, HR, or onboarding
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and relate to our caregivers.
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills in order to evaluate and monitor quality and progress of Care Pros.
- Strong problem-solving skills, recognizing when to escalate situations and when to address challenges quickly.
- Strong grasp of phone and computer technology and ability to learn systems and efficiently troubleshoot.
- Demonstrated skills in identifying, attracting, and assessing potential candidates.
- Ability to onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Must pass a background check.
Our range reflects the hiring range for this position. We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company. Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.
Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program. Honor offers equity and 401K with up to a 4% match. We provide medical, dental and vision coverage including zero cost plans for employees. Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance are fully employer paid with a voluntary additional Life Insurance option. We offer a generous time off program, mental health benefits, wellness program, and discount program.
Hourly Hiring Range
$24.65 – $27.40 USD

Most of our positions are remote/work from home and do not require permanent relocation.
