What You’ll Do
- Answer patient and durable power of attorney (DPOA) questions by phone
- Respond to patient and caregiver messages through the Curana Patient Portal
- Schedule follow-up appointments with Curana providers and specialists
- Maintain and update EHRs to keep patient records accurate and current
- Coordinate documents that need provider review or signature
- Support provider orders and escalate findings appropriately
- Maintain rosters for patients enrolled in APCM and GUIDE programs
- Support provider scheduling and day-to-day admin flow
- Assist with prior authorizations
- Obtain patient records and diagnostic test results
- Manage incoming calls professionally and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in a medical office, senior living community engagement, or related setting
- 1+ year experience with EHR documentation or practice management tools
- Strong medical terminology knowledge
- Ability to interpret medical records, lab results, and appointment notes
- Basic ability to review patient screening tools and identify changes over time
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable learning and navigating different tech platforms
- Able to work in a distraction-free environment
