What You’ll Do
Patient Support
- Handle patient and caregiver inquiries via phone and patient portal
- Assist with appointment scheduling and follow-up care coordination
Provider Support
- Maintain electronic health records and ensure accurate patient documentation
- Coordinate provider orders, signatures, and follow-up tasks
- Obtain medical records, diagnostic results, and assist with prior authorizations
- Maintain rosters for specialized senior care programs
- Support provider scheduling
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for patient and provider inquiries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless support
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year medical office, senior living, or related healthcare experience
- 1+ year experience working in EHR or practice management systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to interpret labs and chart notes
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with remote tools and platforms
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace and reliable high-speed internet
Preferred
- Experience with virtual triage or remote care support
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
