Schedule
- W2 part-time position
- Minimum 15 hours/week
- Possible range up to ~28 hours/week
- Must maintain schedule availability long-term
- Required availability windows:
- Mon–Thu: 3pm–9pm MT or 10am–2pm MT
- Split shift availability preferred
- Rotating Fridays & Saturdays: 9am–3pm MT
- Remote within the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 peer support via secure virtual platforms
- Encourage treatment engagement and reinforce therapeutic goals
- Help de-escalate stress and provide skills-based support in real time
- Complete risk screens and safety plans when needed, escalating to clinical teams
- Remain available during programming hours to maintain client engagement
What You Need
- Work authorization in the United States; fluent English
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology/social sciences (or in final year), or peer support certification
- Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery (including as a parent/caregiver)
- Experience supporting teens or young adults preferred
- Background in IOP/PHP/RTC or peer mentoring strongly preferred
- Strong emotional maturity, empathy, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and present during client distress
- Reliable private workspace and high-speed internet
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools (Zoom, Slack, Google Suite, EMR)
- Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Compensation
- $20 per hour
