- Virtual role based near Alexandria, VA
- Monday–Friday only, no weekends
- Shifts available: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Full-time hourly position
What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls to the NHTSA Hotline regarding vehicle registration and related safety matters
⦁ Use professional phone etiquette to handle each call clearly, courteously, and efficiently
⦁ Listen carefully, identify caller needs, and provide accurate information or next steps
⦁ Research issues as needed to resolve questions and document outcomes
⦁ Manage a high volume of calls while staying calm, organized, and customer-focused
⦁ Follow established procedures to escalate, transfer, or log calls appropriately
⦁ Support problem resolution within defined timelines and quality standards
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED (some college a plus)
⦁ 1–3 years of experience in a Customer Service Call Center or Contact Center
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional phone presence
⦁ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
⦁ Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
⦁ Passion for delivering excellent customer service
⦁ U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and ability to obtain a public trust security clearance
