Description
We are in search of a Call Center Representative to join our team in BALTIMORE, Maryland, United States. In this role, the selected candidate will be an integral part of our inbound call center, primarily focusing on housing permitting projects. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where the individual will initially undergo 4 weeks of onsite training before transitioning to remote work.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming calls related to housing and e-permits, providing excellent customer service consistently
• Leverage CRM and other computer programs to process customer inquiries efficiently
• Use the Avaya CMS for call center reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Utilize communication skills to assist customers, ensuring their needs are met and queries resolved
• Work closely with the chief of division for technology updates and other related aspects
• Adhere to Fair Housing Law and Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) guidelines in all interactions
• Utilize ADP – Financial Services for customer credit application processing
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, using Customer service software
• Support the 311 division with relevant tasks as required
• Answer customer inquiries promptly, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or customer service environment
• Proficiency in ADP – Financial Services
• Experience with Avaya CMS
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
• Experience with CRM systems
• Familiarity with customer service software
• Knowledge of ‘About Time’ software
• Ability to answer and manage inbound calls effectively
• Proven track record in assisting customers with various inquiries
• Experience with Benefit Functions
• Understanding of Fair Housing and Fair Housing Law
• Knowledge of Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
