  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with clients, and serve as a sounding board / point of contact for the clients you’ve helped to onboard
  • Participate in strategic calling and messaging to identify new business opportunities
  • Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as executing outbound prospecting initiatives
  • Analyze prospective leads for success potential
  • Lead introductory/ discovery calls with publishers
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up generating increased interest and excitement
  • Support in the closing of small to mid tier deals in an effort to meet and exceed goals
  • Collaborate and contribute to the success of the business development and greater customer success team
  • Stays current on competitors and industry trends while proactively sharing knowledge with the team
  • Required travel on an as needed basis, for business opportunities, our annual All Hands Retreat, Team Retreats/Meetings and/or industry events/conferences (approx. 30%)

Requirements

  • Applicants must be based in the United States

You Have:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in Business Development in the digital publishing and/or technology space
  • Prior or current experience working remotely with a distributed team of stakeholders and customers
  • Strong proficiency with Google Suite
  • Experience with communication platforms like Slack
  • Experience working with a CRM such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
  • An understanding of the online marketing and advertising industries
