Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Contract):

Requirements Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements to ensure feature parity between existing and new enrollment and licensing systems.
  • Gather, document, and validate requirements from stakeholders and customer success managers.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories for the development team.

Critical Path Delivery:

  • Develop and maintain the critical path for product development, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the project timeline and propose mitigation strategies.

Customer Communication Strategy:

  • Design and implement a communication strategy to effectively inform customers about the migration process to Amplify Services.
  • Create communication materials, including FAQs, user guides, and training sessions, to support customer understanding and adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure all teams are informed and aligned on project progress and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the product development team and other departments to ensure cohesive project execution.

Product and Engineering Milestones Delivery:

  • Monitor and track the progress of product and engineering milestones.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
  • Report on project status, including key achievements and any deviations from the plan.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create comprehensive documentation for all aspects of the project, including requirements, processes, and deliverables.
  • Prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.

Basic Qualifications of the Business Analyst (Contract):

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the education technology sector.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.


The hourly rate for this role is $85.
