Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Contract):
Requirements Analysis:
- Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements to ensure feature parity between existing and new enrollment and licensing systems.
- Gather, document, and validate requirements from stakeholders and customer success managers.
- Translate business requirements into user stories for the development team.
Critical Path Delivery:
- Develop and maintain the critical path for product development, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the project timeline and propose mitigation strategies.
Customer Communication Strategy:
- Design and implement a communication strategy to effectively inform customers about the migration process to Amplify Services.
- Create communication materials, including FAQs, user guides, and training sessions, to support customer understanding and adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure all teams are informed and aligned on project progress and requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between the product development team and other departments to ensure cohesive project execution.
Product and Engineering Milestones Delivery:
- Monitor and track the progress of product and engineering milestones.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Report on project status, including key achievements and any deviations from the plan.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create comprehensive documentation for all aspects of the project, including requirements, processes, and deliverables.
- Prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.
Basic Qualifications of the Business Analyst (Contract):
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the education technology sector.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $85.
