As a Brokerage Associate your primary goal is to support existing Empower clients with all aspects of their investment needs. The chosen candidate will have a strong customer service background with a firm understanding of the diverse operational and investment needs of our customers. Knowledge of current financial markets and retirement account operations are necessary.
This position can be done remotely.
What will you do:
- Service new and existing client needs via inbound calls
- Handle client trading of Equity, ETF, Mutual Fund, Options and Fixed Income securities
- Engage customers in an Investment Recommendation Conversation
- Respond to operational inquiries regarding trading, asset movement, account opening and asset consolidation
- Uncover leads and opportunities to hand off to the Retirement Advisor Team
- Be a team player and participate in employee collaboration
What will you bring:
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required.
- Fingerprinting
- Insurance license may be required within 90 days of hire
What will set you apart:
- 2+ years of financial customer service experience
- Strong technological skills and an ability to multi-task across systems.
- Past brokerage and mutual fund trading experience
- Comprehensive PC skills including ability to quickly learn Empower Retirement’s recordkeeping system
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Base Salary Range$48,300.00 – $66,450.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
