Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a windows system Admin to join one of the top media clients and support the team remotely. This individual would support and maintain systems across hybrid cloud environments. They will be responsible for on-call support, systems administration, patching, and monitoring of critical infrastructure and services. Reliability Engineering is a methodology that combines automation, codified infrastructure, and continuous delivery to reduce operational complexity and increase platform stability and usability. Applying this approach to our environment, the IT Systems Support Engineer will work to automate, support, and maintain infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments. Additional skills include:
– Proficient with windows/Linux OS server and Workstation Administration
– OS Security Patch deployment administration
– Basic network subnetting, routing, and hardware connectivity
– Enterprise Hardware Maintenance (Storage devices, memory replacements)
– Shared Storage administration

Required Skills & Experience
– 3-5+ years of experience as a Windows System Admin with virtualization experience within an enterprise level environment
– Experience with Monitoring tools (DataDog) and identity management tools (OKTA)
– IPMI Management (IDRAC, CIMC) Experience
– PowerShell Scripting Experience
– Active directory, DNS, IT administrative experience
– Expereince with VMware/Nutani Cluster operations, cloud environment, AWS/Azure
– L2/L3 troubleshooting and creative skills, ability to think outside the box
– Knowledge of network fundamentals, (routing, IP address) and experience with VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure)
