This role is about getting aging insurance claims paid. You’ll file clean claims, chase denials, submit appeals when needed, and document everything, all while juggling multiple systems and keeping HIPAA-level confidentiality tight.

Schedule
• Remote (U.S.)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
• Virtual call center environment (extended sitting, multitasking across systems)
What You’ll Do
⦁ File medical insurance claims using correct forms and required attachments
⦁ Make outbound calls related to claim follow-up and resolution
⦁ Research claim and account denials and submit written appeals when needed
⦁ Determine correct insurance to bill based on client info and gather supporting documentation
⦁ Verify patient demographics and benefits
⦁ Ensure claim integrity before billing (clean, accurate, complete)
⦁ Document all actions in CUBS and other required systems
⦁ Meet productivity goals and resolve accounts in a timely manner
⦁ Maintain confidentiality and follow compliance policies and procedures
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent (required)
⦁ Insurance billing training (preferred)
⦁ Knowledge of multiple insurance payers (preferred)
⦁ Strong communication skills for patients, coworkers, and management
⦁ Professional, courteous demeanor and comfort working independently
⦁ Strong time management and organization in a high-volume environment
⦁ Solid computer skills and 30–40 WPM typing

Backbone moment: same pay band as that “Sr.” enrollment role, but billing and denials work can be a grind.
