Preferred hubs include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco, but strong remote applicants across the U.S. are welcome
Work standard business hours with flexibility to support case volume, internal meetings, and cross functional partners
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on billing operations cases, questions, and escalations
- Proactively manage your case queue to ensure timely resolution and hit internal service level expectations
- Maintain concise, accurate case notes and tags so management can report on performance and trends
- Perform customer reconciliations and analysis to resolve perceived discrepancies and provide clarity on invoices
- Partner closely with internal teams such as Customer Success and Sales to streamline communication and problem solving
- Escalate internal and external inquiries through management meetings and email to keep issues moving toward resolution
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, workflows, and use of resources
- Support the finance team as needed with tasks such as cash application, customer invoicing, collections, and month end close deliverables
What You Need
- 2 to 5 years of experience in billing operations and or accounts receivable, ideally in a fast paced, high growth environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and tactful approach to escalated customer matters
- Solid analytical skills and comfort working in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas
- Ability to stay organized, self directed, and focused while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of enthusiasm and adaptability in a dynamic environment with changing needs
- Proven track record as a collaborative team player who can work cross functionally to solve complex issues
- Confidence interacting with both internal stakeholders and external customers by email, phone, and video
- Experience with Salesforce and virtual meeting tools is a plus
