About the Role
We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to support our finance team by managing billing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in customer invoicing. This fully remote role is open to candidates authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule
- Full-Time, Remote (U.S. only)
- Must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Salary: $22–$23 per hour, based on experience
What You’ll Do
- Support billing, collections, and account management operations
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Process credit memos, credits/rebills, and monthly billing cycles
- Track and resolve outstanding billing issues in a timely manner
- Manage large datasets and spreadsheets to ensure billing accuracy
- Perform customer account reconciliations and calculate monthly commissions
- Assist with special billing projects and ad-hoc reporting
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, collections, or accounts receivable
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with accounting or financial management software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving and analytical ability
