Schedule
- Remote: Work from home (US)
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Training schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5–6 weeks)
- Shift availability required:
- Monday and Thursday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hiring restrictions (not hiring in, including but not limited to):
- States: AK, CA, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY
- Metro areas: Minneapolis (MN), Chicago (IL), New York City (NY), Portland (OR), Montgomery County (MD), Seattle (WA), Washington, DC
- Note: Some locations may not qualify due to minimum wage rules
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for NJ FamilyCare inquiries (beneficiaries and community organizations)
- Provide one-to-one phone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees
- Document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances accurately
- Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based system for phone applicants
- Maintain working knowledge of NJ FamilyCare rules, guidelines, and related policies
- Share clear, accurate information based on program requirements and eligibility rules
What You Need
- Bilingual: Spanish and English (strong verbal communication)
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of call center customer service and quality monitoring
- Strong people skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Problem-solving mindset (analysis + feedback + improvement)
- Ability to build rapport and communicate complex information clearly
- Background check and drug screening required
- Internet speed test required (must meet minimum requirements)
