What You’ll Do
- Respond to inbound patient calls about medical bills, insurance coverage, and payment options
- Explain billing statements, balances, and payment plans in a clear, respectful way
- Document calls and outcomes accurately in billing and patient systems
- Partner with internal teams to resolve patient concerns and escalate when needed
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow all company policies
- Meet daily/weekly expectations for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
What You Need
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Call center or customer-facing experience
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism on the phone
- Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written communication and organization skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Ability to work well in a team environment and use independent judgment
