Schedule
Remote.
40 hours/week, Monday–Sunday (including holidays).
Flexible to work any 8-hour shift within business hours: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM PST.
Dedicated workspace required, following HIPAA/PHI protocols, with stable and secure internet.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication (calls, emails, faxes, web requests) with pharmacies, beneficiaries, and prescribers
- Meet service level standards (speed to answer under 30 seconds, low abandon rate, service-level performance targets)
- Support claim rejections and overrides as needed
- Provide Coverage Determination status (including exceptions and appeals)
- Document prior authorization inquiries, issues, status, and resolution in line with federal, department, and company guidelines
- Respond to questions and help resolve complaints related to eligibility, benefits, payment status, manual reversals, provider portal support, and price appeals
- Escalate and report identified issues to the appropriate team for investigation and correction
What You Need
- Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 1+ year experience in a pharmacy or member services call center, retail pharmacy, or hospital pharmacy setting
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work remotely with secure internet and a dedicated HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Availability for the full schedule (40 hours/week, including weekends/holidays, within the shift window)
