What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to the Admissions department while assisting students, faculty, and staff
- Monitor the shared admissions inbox throughout the workday
- Review incoming emails and route messages to the correct specialist, manager, or department
- Identify applicants/students in the student information system (SIS) and prioritize documents for Admissions Coordinator review
- Verify student documentation is appropriate, complete, and necessary before uploading to student records
- Manage uploaded documents for accuracy and correct placement in records, including advanced PDF handling when needed
- Retrieve official transcripts from third-party vendors and route them appropriately
- Process applicant withdrawal requests
- Fulfill requests for admissions letters or decision notifications
- Complete other assigned duties to support daily admissions operations
What You Need
- Associate’s degree plus 1 year of administrative experience, or 3 years of administrative experience (higher ed preferred)
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-volume work accurately and meet tight deadlines
- Comfort working independently with limited supervision in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with student information systems is preferred, but not required
