We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our insurance agency in a remote, work-from-home capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance, including managing customer inquiries, processing insurance documents, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the agency. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency with office software and insurance management systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth business operations and exceptional customer service.

salary: $18 – $18.5 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM – 6 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the insurance agency, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Assist with the preparation, processing, and filing of insurance documents such as applications, claims, and policy renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records and update client information in the agency’s management system.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups with clients or internal teams.
  • Support the agency’s customer service efforts by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on requests.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing as needed.
  • Generate and distribute reports, summaries, and other documents as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support insurance claims and policy processes.
  • Collaborate with the agency team to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
