Help shape the quality and compliance backbone of a growing nonprofit health plan. WellSense Health Plan is seeking an Accreditation Specialist to lead NCQA Health Plan Accreditation efforts and ensure standards are met across programs, policies, and teams.

Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
- Occasional cross-functional meetings and readiness assessments
What You’ll Do
- Lead coordination of NCQA accreditation activities and submissions
- Develop, prepare, and maintain documentation for accreditation surveys
- Support required committees with materials, notes, and logistics
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with accreditation standards
- Draft and review policies and procedures supporting accreditation initiatives
- Interface with regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies as needed
- Conduct readiness assessments and monitor project timelines
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience (Master’s preferred)
- 2+ years of healthcare experience, ideally in a managed care organization
- Knowledge of accreditation, quality, HEDIS, or auditing (1 year preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to lead process improvements
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus across teams
- CPHQ or quality-related certification preferred
