Schedule
- Full-time, remote (U.S.-based)
- Collaborate across accounting, finance, operations, actuarial, and marketing
- Occasional tight deadlines tied to close and audits
What You’ll Do
- Own monthly/quarterly/annual close: journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and review of key schedules
- Ensure accurate reporting under US GAAP/IFRS; support clean, timely internal/external audits
- Oversee client disbursements and cash reconciliations; monitor controls and documentation
- Drive process improvements that boost accuracy, speed, and internal controls
- Partner with leaders to align accounting results with business drivers; advise on new processes/transactions
- Lead special projects and ad hoc requests to support evolving team needs
What You Need
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years mentoring or leading others
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and internal controls; precise written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Excel/Word; GL experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SmartStream preferred
- Client-facing experience a plus; high integrity and work ethic
