What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for a portfolio of Financial Advisor accounts
- Engage clients strategically to retain and grow accounts by understanding advisor goals and needs
- Counsel advisors on campaign best practices to optimize performance on SmartAsset
- Lead high-priority client escalation calls, including negotiation conversations
- Drive revenue growth by selling additional products and services within your book of business
- Use Tableau and sales tools to uncover opportunities and improve account performance
- Represent the Account Management business in strategic meetings and provide feedback to leadership
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Advisor Support to align on advisor success
- Partner with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Product teams to share advisor insights and improve tools/features
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and support Outreach Automation Tool (OAT) setup/maintenance
- Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate with Finance as needed
- Oversee pre-activation processes, including compliance approvals and onboarding
- Action feedback from the Concierge team to improve advisor engagement
What You Need
- 3+ years of account management experience managing a high volume of clients
- Strong communication skills and confident phone presence
- Ability to build long-term client relationships across email, phone, and virtual meetings
- Consultative sales skills: identify needs, recommend solutions, and drive upsell conversations
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate consistently via phone and video and work prolonged periods at a computer
