Responsibilities
- Own annual revenue and expansion targets, managing renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities
- Lead RFP responses, negotiation processes, pipeline forecasting, and contract oversight
- Build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders across TPA, stop-loss, benefits admin, payment integrity, analytics, and clinical care management
- Provide strategic consultation rooted in client objectives, leadership priorities, data insights, and market context
- Deliver presentations including business reviews, roadmap discussions, product capabilities, and performance reporting
- Ensure client satisfaction, monitor risk indicators, and support action plans that strengthen retention and referenceability
- Track and communicate contract compliance, surfacing risks to leadership when needed
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and align strategies with Account Managers
- Serve as a customer advocate to ensure program health, product alignment, and measurable client value
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in sales or client success roles in health insurance, benefits, healthcare, or related sectors
- Direct TPA experience required
- Expertise in self-funded benefits, managed care, pharmacy, stop-loss underwriting, and analytics
- Strong background in consultative selling, relationship management, and account expansion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Experience with complex renewals, RFPs, negotiations, and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong business acumen, executive presence, and communication skills
- Ability to navigate formal and informal organizational channels
- Knowledge of employer-sponsored healthcare trends and strategies
- Proven ability to build trust, maintain high-level partnerships, and influence outcomes
