What You’ll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle with large-market prospects, from qualification through close
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline via outbound prospecting, networking, and partnerships
- Run discovery sessions to uncover needs, obstacles, and business objectives
- Deliver presentations and tailored product demos to key stakeholders
- Partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to support acquisition
- Negotiate pricing and contracts within company guidelines
- Forecast pipeline activity and sales performance using CRM tools
- Build long-term relationships with HR, compliance, and business decision-makers
- Stay current on market trends, competitors, and best practices
- Operate effectively in a highly compliant environment, supporting security and compliance controls
- Handle additional duties as assigned
What You Need
- 4–6 years of SaaS sales experience with proven results
- Track record closing mid-to-large organization deals
- Strong consultative selling approach and ability to communicate business value clearly
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) for forecasting and pipeline management
- Cross-functional collaboration skills to drive results

Quick reality check: the title says “Large Market,” but the listed pay band is closer to mid-market AE base in a lot of SaaS shops. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but it does mean you should go into comp conversations with your eyes open and ask how OTE is structured (base vs commission, accelerators, quota, and average attainment).
