Schedule
- Location: Remote, based in Massachusetts (field-based territory role)
- Travel: Up to 75% (in-state and occasional out-of-state as needed)
- Status: Full-time, exempt
- Environment: Mix of remote planning/admin and on-the-ground relationship-building with hospitals, health systems, and referral sources
What You’ll Do
- Own a defined territory and build a clear strategy to grow referral volume and revenue for assigned infusion therapies
- Research, develop, and execute sales plans for key health systems, hospitals, and referral sources
- Present partnership opportunities to executives, decision makers, and clinical leaders, articulating the value and financial impact of working with Option Care
- Prioritize accounts based on potential, current referrals, profitability, and service needs
- Create and update short- and long-term account plans, tracking progress and adjusting strategy as needed
- Partner closely with Clinical Liaisons, branch staff, and specialty sales to coordinate outreach and service delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with all levels of decision makers, from case managers to hospital administration
- Assess competitive landscape in each account and tailor your approach to win/retain business
- Align internal resources (nursing, clinical, intake, regional leadership) to address customer needs and remove barriers
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, then act on what you see
- Manage your time and travel schedule to maximize business growth and relationship depth
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or healthcare sales preferred)
- OR high school diploma and at least 5 years of sales experience, ideally in pharma/healthcare
- Proven track record selling products or services in a competitive environment
- Experience using sales and marketing principles to present, position, and close
- Comfortable analyzing and reporting sales data to drive decisions and fix problems
- Strong time management: able to juggle multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities without dropping the ball
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (build and edit basic reports, charts, and tables)
- Basic Microsoft Word skills (clean docs, proposals, and letters)
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills (build and edit slide decks for customer meetings)
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 75% of the time for business
- Strong communication, presence, and relationship-building skills with clinical and executive stakeholders
