This is vendor/account management + ops performance inside Datavant’s Payer Retrieval world. You’re the person keeping Datavant’s biggest retrieval vendors moving: running meetings, watching dashboards, fixing slippage, escalating issues, and making sure inventory turns into delivered charts on time.

What You’ll Do
- Be the primary point of contact for the largest/most complex vendors
- Lead vendor meetings: inventory status, priorities, deliverables, performance expectations
- Review dashboards/inventory data to: forecast totals, set priorities, flag risks, recommend strategies
- Own day-to-day vendor management across multiple projects and time-sensitive escalations
- Spot projects pacing behind plan and course-correct with vendors to protect timelines
- Track deliverables and report results to leadership + internal teams
- Monitor vendor performance (gaps, trends, concerns) and provide weekly updates/escalations
- Build and document better processes and SOPs
- Push daily improvements to chart retrieval performance and pacing/targets
- Own payment reconciliation with vendors + coordinate with Accounts Payable
- Maintain inventory ownership: scheduling gets executed quickly and efficiently
- Coordinate with internal partners to prep/ship files to vendors for scheduling
- Be accountable for department KPIs tied to inventory management (work it, disposition it, don’t let it rot)
What You Need
- Bachelor’s preferred (business, healthcare mgmt, analytics, economics, etc.)
- 2–5 years in healthcare tech, medical records, or health information
- Account management or ops experience in a healthcare services company/health plan (preferred)
- Understanding of Risk Adjustment and healthcare/Health IT
- Solid project management fundamentals from an account support angle
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, deadline execution
- Strong communication: can present data clearly and persuasively
- Relationship-builder: quick rapport + credibility with vendors and internal teams
- Analytical and strategic: anticipate vendor needs, spot issues early
