What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and review dental treatment plans with partner dental offices
- Use Codent AI’s platform to support treatment planning documentation and workflows
- Verify and interpret dental insurance benefits, including limitations and estimated patient responsibility
- Communicate treatment plans to patients via phone, video, or secure digital tools
- Improve case acceptance through patient education and clear financial presentation
- Document all treatment coordination activity in Codent AI systems and dental practice management software as needed
- Act as a liaison between providers, insurance carriers, and patients to keep communication consistent
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow data privacy requirements
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar dental administrative role
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and common insurance types (PPO, HMO, indemnity)
- Experience with insurance verification and patient financial discussions
- Ability to work independently using cloud-based platforms and remote communication tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and data accuracy
- Comfort working in evolving systems with frequent updates
- Ability to follow controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements
- Ability to support teams with varying technical skill levels
