What You’ll Do
- Answer heavy inbound call volume in a remote call center environment
- Help patients with billing questions and concerns in a friendly, empathetic way
- Route calls to the correct billing department when needed
- Resolve customer issues while following client rules and expectations
- Follow through on requests, which may include calling third parties, emailing, or faxing information
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, timely filing limits, and internal procedures
What You Need
- Strong computer skills (basic Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Typing speed of 40 WPM minimum
- Insurance billing knowledge is a plus (not required if you can learn fast)
- Professional, calm phone presence under pressure
- Ability to handle high volume work and tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving, knowing what questions to ask to get to the fix
- Clear communication and solid attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask and prioritize
