- Remote
- Pay: $21.00–$23.00/hour
- Schedule includes:
- Two evening shifts per week: 12:00pm–9:00pm CST and 10:00am–7:00pm CST
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
- Remote eligibility requires residence in: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to past-due customers to resolve delinquency
- Identify delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts and take ownership of resolution
- Research accounts to determine the best next steps
- Take payments over the phone, including credit card transactions
- Offer hardship relief options in line with company policies
- Use internal resources to aim for one-call resolutions
- Explain interest, statements, and other account-related questions clearly
- Support overflow call types (disputes, recovery, first payment, bankruptcy)
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Handle additional duties assigned by management
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, internet)
- Professional phone presence with strong verbal and written communication
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and ability to adapt to change while meeting deadlines
- Bilingual (as indicated by the role title)
