About One Call
One Call helps injured workers get the care they need when they need it by coordinating services through a broad provider network. They’re remote-first and driven by values like Think Big, Go Fast, Deliver Awe, Win Together, and Care Deeply. This role supports Operations by securing providers and negotiating single referral agreements when contracted options do not fit.

What You’ll Do
- Negotiate with out-of-network and in-network providers using established guidelines
- Execute short-term agreements, including Single Referral Agreements, when the network cannot staff a referral
- Work with contracted providers requesting rates outside their contract in partnership with Provider Engagement and Contracting teams
- Locate out-of-network providers that meet operational needs for specific referrals
- Communicate One Call’s value proposition clearly to potential providers
- Submit qualified non-contracted providers to Provider Contracting for future contracting opportunities
- Collect minimum provider qualification documents at the close of Single Referral Agreements
- Submit Single Referral Agreement requests to Provider Data Management
- Maintain clean, clear, and concise documentation for each negotiated file
- Communicate dates and service instructions to providers for negotiated cases
- Confirm Start of Care for negotiated files
- Meet team standards for quality and turnaround time
- Support internal and external customers and assist leadership with ad-hoc requests as needed
What You Need
- Associate’s degree, or 1–2 years of relevant experience in place of a degree
- Financial acumen, including the ability to calculate margins using client and provider pricing
- Comfort negotiating and handling confidential work independently
- General understanding of healthcare products and services
- General knowledge of workers’ compensation (or ability to learn fast)
- Strong verbal and written communication with a concise, professional style
- Strong customer service mindset and people skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation habits
- Strong problem-solving skills using learned tools and processes
- Flexibility, versatility, and dependability
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in alignment with DEI and belonging standards
