This role sits in Shared Services within RCM and supports their retrospective billing program.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Ongoing applications (no posting deadline)
- Work performed from your home office setup

What You’ll Do
- Review bills submitted by payors and channel partners through One Call’s retrospective program
- Apply state and federal guidelines, fee schedules, and customer-specific rules to reprice bills and drive savings
- Stay current on billing protocols, regulations, and internal procedures that impact processing
- Use billing and coding guidelines to support accurate decisions and department needs
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in bill processing
- Review, research, and help resolve billing errors
- Review, research, and resolve customer inquiries related to billing
- Create and maintain process documentation for assigned tasks
- Communicate with internal departments to solve issues and discrepancies
- Communicate timely responses to internal and external customers
- Complete other related duties as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- Entry-level readiness, including:
- Basic skills with moderate proficiency
- Comfort resolving routine questions and problems
- Willingness to learn from senior peers and team leads
- Ability to follow standard procedures and written instructions
- Typically less than 1 year of office and/or billing experience
- Knowledge and skills:
- Familiarity with billing rules and regulations (or ability to learn quickly)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong customer service mindset
- Computer navigation and operation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in alignment with DEI and belonging standards
